How to Ensure Your Uploaded Videos Are Compatible with StreamLadder
If you want to make sure that all the videos are properly formatted for our platform every time before uploading them, please make sure you follow these steps:
1. Check and Adjust Your Video Settings in Advance:
- Video Codec: Ensure your video uses the AVC / H.264 / MPEG-4 Part 10 codec.
Settings > Output > Streaming/Recording > Encoder > Select x264 (H.264).
- Audio Codec: The audio should be encoded in MPEG AAC (mp4a).
Settings > Output > Recording > Ensure Audio Track 1 is selected (uses AAC).
- Frame Rate (FPS): The maximum frame rate should not exceed 60 fps.
Settings > Video > Common FPS Values > Set to 60.
- Container Format: Use MP4 as the preferred container format. While MOV is also supported, MP4 is recommended for better compatibility.
Settings > Output > Recording Format > Select mp4.
- Target Bitrate: Aim for a bitrate of around 2 Mbps for optimal quality and performance.
Settings > Output > Streaming/Recording > Set Bitrate to 2000 kbps (2 Mbps)
